    • Nice looking hutch! So practical and good for the garden compost.ūüĎć

      • Thank you! The rabbits are producing a lot of compost from their litter. ¬†We should have tremendous gardens next season. ¬†And the rabbits are super cute and fun for the family.

    • This is a cool hutch! I love the stain coloring.
By LuisCheng, on April 7, 2020
      • Thank you! ¬†It is a redwood all-weather deck stain. ¬†We hope it is very durable. ¬†We chose this stain so that we could avoid the chemicals in pressure-treated pine because rabbits do like chewing on wood.

    • I still love this

    • Great looking rabbit hutch. It really brings back memories. Years ago I learned that rabbit manure makes excellent fertilizer. I too constructed a hutch and bought some rabbits. I must say, this hutch far exceeds mine. Good job!! CAUTION: Rabbits reproduce!! You can always make some more hutches. :)

      • Good advice. ¬†We built another hutch today.

    • Very cool! Love the antique-ish look! Black hinges and stain make this thing look awesome. Well done!

    • Nice looking! And it appears to be very useful for the rabbits!

    • What a great hutch. I love the part that allows them to graze in the yard. Well done!¬†
By sebarnes, on April 23, 2020
      • They really enjoy their play time in the grass. ¬†They jump all over the enclosure. They start grazing the minute we put them in it.

    • This is a really great hutch! Very well done with meticulous care. Outstanding!
      By LD-Holmes, on April 23, 2020
      • Thank you so much! ¬†It is holding up well after 2 months of use. ¬†No problem with predators so far.

    • What a nice build! I'm sure the rabbits are quite happy with their home!

      • Our compost pile is filling up much faster now thanks to the bunnies. ¬†Next year's garden should be amazing.

    • It's such an attractive piece -- and makes me think that having rabbits in a hutch could be a lot of fun! Good work!

    • Great looking rabbit hutch. It looks really well designed and the rabbits look happy. Is there a wired section on the floor where they deposit their waste? Do they always go to the same place? How does the removable tray work?
By pastordc, on May 20, 2020
      • There is a corner on the floor with wires for the waste. ¬†We put an old cookie sheet underneath for collection. ¬†Sometimes the rabbits use it. ¬†We understand that rabbits can be trained, and hopefully now that we separated them they will do a better job using one location for waste instead of marking the entire hutch. ¬†Most of the floor is wood because we wanted it to be gentler on their paws. ¬†If I can add a picture, I will show how we did it. Thanks!

    • I teach a class that uses a novel about rabbits, Watership Down. Your hutch reminds me of a scene in the book where wild rabbits perform a "breakout" of some hutch rabbits! Your hutch looks far too well built for you to have to worry about escapees! Very nice looking work.
By karlanderson, on May 28, 2020
      • Our family read Watership Down last year - really enjoyed it! ¬†I think any wild rabbits would have a hard time climbing high enough to let our rabbits out. ¬†:) ¬†Also, the height helps deter predators like coyotes and raccoons.

    • Great design and concept for happy rabbits leading to a productive garden. Good Job Noah!
