This set up is so impressive! We dig the galvanized metal!

Are you able to use standard hooks on that pegboard? Great looking project!

Yes, standard hooks work for this. I live in south Florida and my garage is not climate controlled so everything has to be either galvanized or stainless. Appearance and durability is also a huge plus!

Thank you. I just moved to Seaford, VA and I’m worried about the salt air. My garage is not a/c as well- except when I can leave the house door open-lol

Great looking set up. What is it that you used to hang the tools with? What is the orange part? I might have to borrow that look.

If you are referring to what's connected to my ryobi tools they are ryobi lanyards that snap into the battery port. They were discontinued in the orange/blue and then brought back in the ryobi green then discontinued again. You can still find some on ebay/Amazon.

Very nice! I have a tailgate in the shed that I have wanted to build something like this. How did you attach the tailgate to the 4x4 wood posts? I have a lot of exposed metal that protrudes from the sides, so I have been deciding the best way to attach the two.

The bottom part of the tailgate I used a 1/2 threaded rod, 60" in length cut down to size from home depot. Used a tap/die set to thread the hole where the tailgate attached to the truck bed and ran it straight through the 4x4 posts. For the top I used the existing brackets on the tailgate and just bolted them through the top of the post/4x4.

Love THIS! I was just talking to my brother today about my growing Ryobi tool collection and how I am going to need another cabinet or something for tool storage. I love how you used the wrenches. Looks like I'll have to find me an old cabinet!

Thanks I appreciate it! Home depot sells Behr paint, color is Venom and is almost an exact match to Ryobi green. The wrenches I've used on a few projects, they are pretty easy to make it you have access to a drill press. They can be made for around $1 each including hardware and look a whole lot better than most boring drawer pulls!
