Yes, while enjoying woodworking in many forms, I find scroll saw work the most relaxing and over all what I do best.

    • It is beautiful! We love the intricate details, and inlaying the roots into the base is a fantastic touch. Do you enjoy scroll saw projects?

That is wood burning, not turning, but yes, learning new woodworking skills is always fun.  This was cut with a scroll saw, and rounded with a router round over bit.

    • That's so funny! We love the creativity and the new woodburning skills your wife has acquired! Can't wait to see more!

Thank you, in small shops, it is all about mobility, the more things you can do with the same piece, the better.

    • Wow! You've got a lot of support for longer boards and so much storage. It is perfection!

    Christmas Snowflakes : Txgent10
While there are a few that are similar, each is a one of a kind for me.  A lot of the patterns did not even come from woodworking plans, a few even were just a picture that I turned into plans. Finding all the snowflakes was all part of the fun.  If you go to my Pinterest you will find many of the patterns I used. #TheWeekendWoodworker

    • We know that scroll saw projects with this much detail take quite a bit of time. Beautiful work! Are they all unique, or did you create multiples of the different designs?

Standing Desk and Printer table : Txgent10
Thanks, we had a lot of fun making them! We had looked at buying a stand up computer desk, but making one makes it not only a lot more special, but I think they are a better made table than most you can buy.
Plus we got to make a matching printer stand :)
