I noticed a drop in corner of my finished basement. I ripped out my finished rec-room wall and had some major settling cracks in the wall. Had various quotes and decided on one company that had good reviews plus I wanted to add an egress window. They installed outside pilings or piers, and beams inside. Then I did my thing, 2 inch owens foam board. Then, stud out the wall. Use insul-foam platinum as a vapor barrier and drywall. finished it all up and painted. Can't even tell it was ripped out. The outside work and window was 3 days and my finishing work inside added up to be about 3 weeks working after work. The added light and ventilation is just great. Now per code, I could add a bedroom downstairs because of the egress window and consider the basement as square footage!
