Bulkhead stairs

Original stairs from the basement to outdoors were unsafe due to age and water damage. Complications were a back wall not 90 degrees to floor and the poured floor just a slag pile of un-screed concrete. Both conditions created issues when setting the three stingers. Took a while to position the stirigers so all were aligned to insure treads would be level side to side and front to back. Job took more patience than skill with hand tools. Estimate includes demolition and about an hour of maneuvering to get all three stringers in place.

  • Nice work! It takes a little extra time to do it right, but it is well worth it. Thanks for sharing!
