  • Wow! I've been scouring sites to find this EXACT build. Could you do myself & I'm sure lots of others a huge favor? Add more detail on your plans sheet? e.g. board measurements, what you used for shelf bottoms? How many inches did you go above the door opener? I would so so so appreciate your answers. Trust me, I haven't found this build in all my searches. Great Work!! Thank You

  • I haven't even considered storage above my door. You may have just saved my garage!

  • The rack is like the one I have pondered making.  Seeing your pictures is very helpful.  Do you have some step by step photos to add?  Did you use masonite, MDF, or plywood for your base?  It probably does not matter, just curious.  Did you consider using Strong-tie hangers?  I want to build one to store lumber (over the double door) and some Items I rarely use but still need to have handy.  Thank you for posting.

  • This is great! I love that you found use for items that were getting thrown away. My question is: since I don't have a radio shack power source laying around, lol. What other inexpensive way could I power the fans? Look forward to seeing your painting project, thanks

  • I know, I've been reading on Youtube that if you take an old Power supply from a Computer you turn it into a Power Source of different Voltage. Maybe you could experiment with one for the POWER SOURCE....Good Luck and Happy New Year.
    And please be safe.
