STEP 2: Preparing and Cleaning Outdoors
To prepare the outside of your home, trim long tree branches with a chainsaw to prevent debris and trees from falling. To prevent damage, board up windows with a Drill.

STEP 3: Pack up Perishable Items
Mid Storm, pack up perishable items and place them in a cooler to keep them cool in the event of loss of power.

STEP 4: Hunker Down
During a storm, use a radio to stay informed on storm status, a light to navigate power outages, a power source to keep your devices charged.
