Bar + Console Table

A while back we built a different bar/console table for a friend and it has been a huge hit whenever they entertain. Essentially, it is console table that goes behind a sofa that can house four counter height stools and is the perfect for hosting! 🏈 🍺

Materials

  • (2) 2"x2"x8'
  • (2) 4x4x8 Posts
  • (4) 2"x4"x8'
  • 2-1/2" Pocket Screws
  • Pocket Hole Jig
  • Wood Glue
  • Wood Stain

Steps

STEP 1

Cut all pieces of wood using the attached cut list. Drill pocket holes and assemble the 2 sides with 2-1/2" pocket screws.

STEP 2

Drill pocket holes and assemble the base with 2-1/2" pocket screws.

STEP 3

Drill pocket holes and assemble the top with 2-1/2" pocket screws.

STEP 4

Set the top on the base and mark the cutouts for the 4x4 posts. Then cutout notches for the posts and sand to refine corners.

STEP 5

Drill pocket holes and install the top piece using 2-1/2" pocket screws.
