The bluegill and the crappie are an up north favorite. I have collected antique MN license plates for a few years, to be used in this project. The crappies were made from plates dating from 1943-1966. The bluegill came next, as the colors of MN plates became “sunnier” in color. These were made from plates dating 1966-1974. I drew the fish, then cut them apart to be traced on the metal license plates. I then used the Ryobi 18 volt sheers to cut them out. I used a hand torch to burn the cedar wood, that is the back to many. The other fish are backed with rustic stained poplar. This my first project I have posted on Ryobi Nation.
