The idea for this project came from my wife and started with a sketch over coffee.

We designed these to accommodate baskets she found. We lifted them off the floor with wide feet to allow airflow from the HVAC register underneath (using an air vent deflector).

The cord minder at the back of the stand holds USB cables for phones and tablets and keeps them falling.

    • Thanks, they work well to keep the cords from falling behind the unit when disconnected. I didn't have it in the picture but we have a slim USB charger on the back of each unit (attached with Velcro tape) so that each nightstand has 5 charging ports in easy reach, while concealed in the back.
