Walking sticks

A friend of the family wanted to give her grandkids something extra for Xmas, and she asked me to make some stilts, now I never had or used stilts before. I thought I could just slap a piece of wood on some 2x4s and voilà. I was wrong because they wouldn't be safe and they looked like cr.. So I spiced them up a bit and made them safe, for instance made sure there were no splinters, and no knots(due to the weak spots they would cause) and rubber stoppers on the bottom so they wouldn't slip. I added some color and btw there are 3 grandkids so 3 pairs of stilts, but I heard that they loved them.
