The remotes are terrible , it’s hard to get them to open the door, you have to take it off the visor and keep pressing the button to get it to work , both remotes do this. Very irritating. I’m concidering returning it to Home Depot

We’ve had this garage door system for about a year now and overall I like the system. I like that you can use the app to open and close the door, mainly because the car clickers don’t work for crap. It is a daily battle to get in the perfect position to get it to open the door or close it.

I have had the Ryobi Garage Door opener for about two year and it works well if you can get it to work, It is quite, powerful, and the motor seems to work effortlessly. However, the remotes are worthless. Both the ones in the vehicles, the combination lock outside the door, and wall mount by the back door. None of them work with a crap. New batteries help a little, but the range is way to short. Is there a solution to this? Is there a generic remote that will work better.

Purchased a new GDO recently. The unit works great, but the car remotes are terrible. They work when they want to and you have to be right in front of the garage door for it to open when it does choose to work. I've read the universal remotes are not compatible and so I would not recommend the entire unit.
