Ok, mower blades have gone cheep industry wide in recent years because people treat them as disposable instead of keeping them sharp and being careful so I can't criticize Ryobi for following the trend.
However I can't help but wish for a sturdier option for mower blades since this is a proprietary product and I can't just replaced it with a Snapper blade, for example, which are made nice and heavy out of high grade steel and will last for years. It's frustrating that a single pebble just a quarter-inch in diameter can totally obliterate the edge on my $25 mower blade beyond all remedy.
I'd be willing to pay more for a better blade Ryobi.
