Calificación de 4 sobre 5 por TheIrreverend de About time I replaced the old mower
I appreciate how lightweight it is. Compared to my late, unlamented previous mower, it will be easy to bring out of storage and return there (necessarily in the basement). My back thanks you.
It was easy to assemble after opening. Very straightforward, almost intuitive.
I like how the battery detaches for charging-- I like the clear plastic done for esthetic reasons. The height adjustment lever is better than my previous mower-- no spring to snap and cause the mower blade to scrape the ground, with no way to access and fix it.
If I have any criticism, it's that the rear flap wants to go forward, under the blade, and resisted being back of the mower like it should.

I love my Ryobi Lawn Mower. What I like the
most is that the older I get the harder it was for me to start a lawn mower. But the Ryobi lawnmower I purchased has a push start so it makes my life so much easier, no throwing my back or shoulder out to start it. I love that the battery lasted a long time before recharging, infact, I have not had to recharge it since I purchased it about 6 weeks ago, but I do have a small yard. I am so very pleased with this purchase, it has made lawn mowing so much easier and no more needing to put gas in either.. I would absolutely recommend the Ryobi chargeable lawnmower.

I just got this mower yesterday amd I bought it based on tje excellent performance of the 18v line. It is my first 40v tool from Ryobi. The battery took a while to charge, but the performance of the mower is impressive so far. I love the light weight of this model because of the maneuverability it allows on steep banks. The weight is ultimately what made me choose this versus the steel deck models. I haven't had a chance to experiment with it much, as it is new and weather has been unkind, but so far so good. I will seriously consider switching to Ryobi 40v for my trimmer as well for the ease of maintenance, available attachment line, and fuel savings. Thanks for another solid product, Ryobi team!

Calificación de 4 sobre 5 por Psalm374 de Light mower
Recently bought to mow small parts of my yard that cannot be done with my riding mower (another Ryobi). It is light enough to maneuver. The battery does not seem last long in my opinion, but all I can compare is the riding mower that has an excellent battery life. One thing that can be designed better is the push bar. It does not offer much adjustability but only a few inches of the length adjustment. It would be great if the angle could also be adjusted (with one-touch), because when we push it on uphill, we lean forward and want to lower the handle bar to apply pushing force more effectively with ease. I don't know if any other pushing mowers have this feature, though.

I bought this lawnmower because I got tired of fighting with my gasoline operated mower. I got so tired of pulling on that starter cord.
One day after failing to win the fight, I thought... There has got to be a better way! So I went to the Home Depot website to research lawnmowers. There were two criteria; 1) Price - it would have to be affordable, and 2) It would have to be (in my mind) dependable. The Ryobi 40 volt, 18 Inch mower with battery and charger fit my criteria. The price was right, and the qauality was good, as have used Ryobi products for the last thirty years and they have served me well.
After the first mowing with this product, I was very impressed... No More Fighting! Yea!

Calificación de 5 sobre 5 por KevCar de Impressed with battery technology
The mower works just as well as the gas ones I've used in the past, but without all the loud noise. The battery last long enough to cover my whole yard, although my yard isn't that large. The mower is mainly plastic so it is very lightweight and reasonably easy to push. I got this because I fell like things are moving electric these days and I wanted to support battery technology. Plus, this removes the hassle of getting and mixing gas, then hoping the mover will even start. Just charge the battery and get moving!

Calificación de 4 sobre 5 por Tippy de Great solution for smaller yards
After 4 mowings, this mower has worked out great. Quiet enough to start early in the day, great mulching. Power is very adequate but slow walking helps in high grass. One and a half batteries would easily finish my smaller yard, but I’m going w 1 battery through heavy growth March-May since job will be much faster/lighter later. Battery takes no more than 2hours to fully recharge from 0.

Calificación de 4 sobre 5 por Neeface de Am happy with it so far.
I've had it a few short weeks. Only had to use it a few times so far. I have a large lot. I can do the front lawn on one charge. I thought I could do more but maybe as the battery goes through 2 or 3 more charge cycles, it will last a bit longer. The mower is light, easy to set up and store. It is nicely maneuverable and the cut is fairly clean. I've tried a few height settings and now adjust it accordingly, front lawn (fairly flat with full growth) and backyard (less level with more bumps and sparse grass). Haven't yet used it on longer or wetter grass. Crossing my fingers. Start-up is fun and immediate. It is not noisy, certainly way less than a gas mower. My neighbours are no doubt appreciative of this.
